Phoenix Rangers

Phoenix Rangers is an RPG puzzle game that combines elements clearly inspired by the Pokémon saga plus a combat system based on the classic match-3 games. Your mission is to capture dozens of charming monsters, which you can then level up and evolve. And of course, you get to fight with them. The Phoenix Rangers combat system is relatively simple. All the colored gems are located in the lower part of the screen and your enemies are waiting for you in the upper part. By connecting same-colored gems, you'll throw them up, inflicting damage to the enemies that are standing on them. Connecting gems of the same color also earns manna for your monsters, which can perform special skills. You can collect more than a hundred different monsters in Phoenix Rangers. Level up and evolve them, much like you would with your Pokémon. But, your group of monsters is not the only thing you can manage. You also need to rebuild your village by creating a bunch of buildings that yield you additional resources and other advantages that you can use during combat. Phoenix Rangers is a fun game developed by Rovio, creators of the popular Angry Birds series. This game offers a gameplay experience that's halfway between Puzzle Quest and Pokémon, but its charm and charisma stand all on its own. Its spectacular graphic section and beautiful cartoon aesthetics definitely deserve a special mention.
