Some of your options include Contra, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, Metal Slug, Street Fighter II, and Fatal Fury. All of them are perfectly optimized for Android, so you won't have to configure anything. Like all Android emulators, the virtual controls are well-adapted for touchscreen use. You can 'insert coins' with just a button and won't have any trouble playing with the virtual joystick.
